Toronto: Friday marks the beginning of the 2011 Canadian International AutoShow and people will have 10 days to feast their eyes on the latest cars and several concepts. Several new cars are being unveiled for the very first time at the show. The Auto Show, produced by the Toronto Auto Dealers Association (TADA), runs from February 18 to February 27 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (north and south buildings).
The theme of this year’s show — Discover. Connect. Experience. — reflects the broad range of technology available for today’s automobiles and the expanding offerings of electric hybrids, pure electric solutions and other alternative fuel models.
This year, an impressive lineup of automobiles, concept vehicles, exhibits and activities awaits. Not to be missed during your visit is the Concorso Exotica, a stunning collection of super luxury automobile brands featuring Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Lotus, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce and more.
Even children have a place to play with the Volkswagen Children’s Playcare Centre located on the 600 Level in the South Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Tickets are priced at: adults, $20, children 7-12, $7, and children under 6 are free. You can also buy tickets at the AutoShow website (E-Ticket Fastlane) and save 10 per cent.
